Pictures!

Hello everyone!
Just thought i'd provide an update for all of you, pictures and all! :) Everything is going GREAT here and it is definitely an adventure. I am so happy to be here. Everyone is great, and my spanish is definitely improving! I was able to talk to an elder gentleman for 45 minutes straight the other day - and he in turn was able to tell someone else what I had told him about my life, where i was from, what my parents did for a living - meaning what I said made sense!! An update on exactly what I've been doing: Down here Pastor Antonio is running a school for special ed. kids of all ages. Teaching them to interact with other people and other social skills, plus learning great things. It is going very well. They got out of school on wednesday, so I have been busy taking pictures before the school year ended. (it begins again in august.) I am also building a photo presentation for Antonio because later this summer he will travel to the United States to show the presentation in from of the American Christian Farmers Association to help raise support for the ministry and school down here. It's been a great week so far! In other news, surprise, surpise, there is another American down here! Not only American, but Oregonian! She met me at the bus station when I finally rolled in at 2am. I was surprised beyond all belief, but happy nonetheless. She's been a great asset to me as I get my bearings straight down here :) There's more in the pictures below :) That's all for now - thank you all for your prayers (I heard that I ended up on a refridgerator magnet...:p never thought that would happen!) Dios le bendigan! (God Bless you all)
